Five Things Men Don’t Know About Men

Important Things Men Should Know
Sure, you're a man. You know which sports teams you prefer, how to get from point A to B without asking for directions, and how to troubleshoot an engine. You're probably unaware of some general facts about your sex though. Here is a selection of five things you didn't know about men, but you probably should know.
Men concentrate at the most literal level
For most activities, men use one side of the brain at a time. The left hemisphere (known for being more logical/rational than the right) is the one where men do most their processing. Women, however, tend to use both sides at once. This multi-tasking helps explain why they can be so difficult to understand at times. Using just the left side of the brain during arguments generally leads to a task-oriented, fix-it attitude. Conversely, women are more likely to integrate their feelings and alternative solutions into the mix.
Men can do Kegels
Kegel exercises have been getting a lot of coverage lately, but most of it seems geared more towards women than men. This is too bad since Kegel exercises work just as well for men. They are designed to exercise your pubococcygeus (PC) muscles, which control your urine and semen stream, ejaculation power, and erection firmness. Keeping these PC muscles strong will improve your sex life by giving you more control, lasting power, and the chance to carry these skills well into old age. There are a variety of exercise sets you can try. Most involve clenching and releasing at various intervals. All, however, can be done anywhere and anytime without anybody noticing. To locate your PC muscles, simply interrupt the flow of urine next time you’re taking a leak. The muscles you feel contracting will be the ones in question.
You also have a G-spot
The G-Spot is an erogenous zone that can increase sexual excitement and orgasm when stimulated. The lesser-known male G-spot is the prostate gland and located halfway up the anus. The location might not be worth it for some, but it's worth considering if you're looking for new ways to up your sexual pleasure. Taking some precautions beforehand (research, lubrication, nail trimming, etc.) can make the experience less frightening whether you or a partner will be stimulating the spot.
A large number of men are potent in old age
While new research has shown that male sperm production and quality begins declining with age, others are demonstrating that over 70 percent of men are still able to perform sex at age 70. It's unknown how much of this is caused by relatively recent advancements in the male-enhancement field of medicine. Similarly, a survey of sexless marriages found that 54 percent of the men stopped having sex because they were angry. Twenty-eight percent of the female respondents ended intimacy within, or before, the first year. Few of either sex were just too tired or busy. There seem to be many misconceptions about old age and sex.
The paternal instinct is strong
This statement may not be a surprise exactly, but it's worth noting that recent studies have shown the paternal instinct and bond to be just as biological, strong, and important as the maternal ones. Testosterone levels, for example, tend to experience a decline leading up to the birth of one's child. In theory, these lower testosterone levels minimize aggression and make it easier to form a new bond.
