Dating can always be a challenge. Dating multiple women at once can be like playing with fire.
It goes without saying there are a LOT of ways to screw this up. Don’t let it happen to you. Follow these five tips for being the best ladies man you can possibly be.
• BE TRUTHFUL
You’ve got to lay the cards on the table from the very start. Let a girl know that you like her, you respect her and enjoy spending time with her…but you’re not exclusive and you are dating more than one woman. The old proverb, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”, may come around and bite you in the butt. Some women don’t like open relationships, if not, you’ll find out right away. Some women, on the other hand, like a guy who appreciates women in general and will find this attractive. And some women just enjoy dating a player or the mysterious bad-boy type. Keep it casual, keep it light, but above all…keep it truthful.
• BE IN CONTROL
That doesn’t mean be dominating or be the boss, but it does mean you need to keep a grip on what’s going on in your own life in regards to your multiple female friends. Make sure it’s you that’s setting the dates and laying down the terms for a relationship. Keep your cards close to your chest. Don’t blab to her about what’s going on with the other women in your life. That’s just begging for trouble.
• SET STANDARDS
Be a nice guy, but don’t be so nice that you’re a doormat. There are certain things that you should not tolerate, you’ll know what they are and she needs to know it too. She’ll respect you more if you lay down the ground rules, in a casual way, you don’t have to be a jerk about it.
• SHOW SOME RESPECT
Lots of women don’t mind dating a player and keeping it casual, but no woman likes being disrespected. If she does, she’s not the kind of woman you want in your life. Treat every woman like gold on a date. Show her that you’re interested in her as a person and not just a friend with benefits. Call her back, keep time open for her. It can all be worked out, but it’s up to you to make sure it does work out.
• KNOW HOW TO FIND NEW WOMEN
It’s a fact that some things are just going to play out over time, and you may just find yourselves with nothing to talk about anymore. Keep on friendly terms with gals you may have dated in the past, if you can. You never know she might have cute friends. But most importantly of all, go back to the previous rule and make sure you are the kind of man that women like to spend time around in the first place. If you continually cross the line and break that rule, it might be time for a hard look in the mirror.
