A new undergarment dubbed the “moob tube” has become a must-have Christmas gift for British men looking to hide the effects of festive feasting.
Body Sculpt Vests costing just £7 ($11.52) for a pack of six, have sold out twice since hitting shelves last week in British supermarket Asda, which is part of the Walmart group.
The item’s popularity soared over the weekend after plus-sized British comedian Peter Kay modeled one on BBC chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
The appearance of man boobs or “moobs” is said to be greatly reduced by the tight-fitting vests which were designed to hold in body fat and create the impression of a more athletic physique.
This could be the answer to hiding the extra few pounds most men put on during the Christmas period although a trip to the gym could prove a healthier option.
