Galaxy Fans Hope to be Beckham’s Choice
LA Galaxy fans will hope that soccer superstar David Beckham chooses them over England should the MLS side progress to the next round of the end of season play-offs.
The Los Angeles side face rivals Chivas USA on November 8th and Beckham could be forced to make a huge decision if they run out victorious.
The next round of the competition is scheduled for November 12th.
The Brit has so far appeared 115 times for his country, the most ever for an outfield player, but is rumored to have his sights set on the all-time record of 125.
This will be made difficult for the former Real Madrid and Manchester United winger as England are scheduled to kick off against Brazil in Qatar, just 48 hours after the potential fixture.
The 34-year-old, who is friends with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has faced the wrath of the Riot Squad, a group of hard-core Galaxy fans, on a number of occasions this season.
In pursuit of his international dreams, Beckham has left the MLS side once already, to play for Italian giants AC Milan – much to the Galaxy fans’ annoyance.
