Katy Perry to Receive a Zoo for Birthday
British funnyman Russell Brand is reportedly buying a zoo for Katy Perry as a birthday gift.
While most men opt for underwear or perfume when treating a loved one, the comedian has chosen something suitably off the wall for the star, the Sun reported.
Brand has bought his latest squeeze an animatronic zoo, which lets a user pet the fake animals.
An unnamed source told the Sun that Brand was inspired to buy the gift as Perry was enamored with a petting zoo set up next to the Farmer’s Market at the Grove Leisure Complex in Hollywood.
The pair had stumbled across the peculiar feature after watching a screening of new film, Where the Wild Things Are.
“There are real animals in one section and then this amazing fake menagerie for kids. You can milk the cow and ride on the pony. It’s very kitsch and fun,” the source revealed.
Meanwhile, the I Kissed A Girl singer is thought to be working with the frontman of indie rock band Weezer on her second album.
