Kanye West Looses Cool On Taylor Swift

The 19-year-old was up on the stage of the star-studded event after taking the prize for Best Female Video, her first MTV award.
However, her acceptance speech was interrupted mid-sentence as West stormed the stage, took the microphone off Swift and told guests that Beyonce should have won the prize, which prompted widespread booing from the audience.
Writing on his own blog following the incident, the rap star stated: "I'm so sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom.
"I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!"
However, he continued to argue that Beyonce should have won, referring to the time he gave an MTV award to Outkast as he felt that they deserved it more.
Swift sold more than four million albums in 2008, making her the biggest-selling artist of the year in the United States.
