Cowboys Push NFL Ticket Prices Up For Football Fans

The average cost of attending an NFL game in the new season will stand at $74.99, new research has revealed.
According to the latest figures compiled by Team Marketing for its annual Fan Cost Index, the average price of a football ticket has risen by 3.9 per cent ahead of the weekend's opening fixtures.
Notably, this increase has been driven largely by the Dallas Cowboys, with the Texas team now the priciest to watch as it looks to recoup the cost of its new stadium.
The cheapest ticket for the Cowboys, at $59, costs the equivalent of the cheapest season ticket for the Cincinnati Bengals, with the New England Patriots now having the second-most expensive tickets in the NFL.
Meanwhile, the study also found that 21 teams, including the Lions and the Dolphins, have either kept their prices steady or even dropped them ahead of the new season.
These figures come as the Cincinnati Bengals' receiver Chad Ochocinco has revealed that he has found a loophole in the
NFL'snew rules on social networking, hinting that he may well post on his Twitter account either during or immediately after his side's opener against the Denver Broncos.
