Universal is working with a new website to make its digital, physical and mobile products available to music lovers from one place.
The record label, which is home to Pokerface star Lady Gaga and soul sensation Mary J Blige, will be offering consumers ringtones, t-shirts and music downloads through the Echospin websites.
Music fans will be able to access exclusive offers such as a fan pack for 3 Doors Down, which includes a poster, re-mastered album, vinyl LP, t-shirt and download.
Jim Urie, president and chief executive officer at the Universal Music Group, said: “It’s exciting to see the world’s leading artists using our solutions to provide fans with the effortless and rewarding experiences they deserve.”
The label is to offer fans access to exclusive material from the likes of Soulja Boy, Kid Cudi and Mariah Carey.
Meanwhile, it is rumoured that the big four record labels, which includes EMI, Warner and Sony as well as a Universal, are planning on offering music lovers a new kind of digital download.
The new venture will allow consumers to purchase a digitised version of the album sleeve as well as the music.
