The Rolling Stones are Most Expensive Wedding Act, Survey Shows

Ageing rockers The Rolling Stones have been named as the most expensive wedding act in the world, according to a new survey.
The study, which was conducted on behalf of Living TV, revealed that the Stones would set a bride and groom back £5 million ($8.02 million).
Other notables among the top ten most expensive bands and artists included Sir Elton John and Kylie Minogue, both with a price tag of £2 million while Christina Aguilera and George Michael command £1.5 million and £1.3 million respectively.
The rest of the top ten consisted of Amy Winehouse, Sir Paul McCartney, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez and grandma’s favorite Barry Manilow.
Big hitting pop newcomers such as Lady Gaga and I Kissed a Girl singer Katy Perry offer a slightly cheaper alternative to the megastars of the top ten.
Either of them could be booked for £60,000, the research showed.
One hit wonder Rick Astley, who crash landed the pop charts in the 1980s with his hit Never Gonna Give You Up, also featured in the survey and was found to be worth £25,000.
The statistics were compiled using information taken from agents.
