Cameron Diaz to Star in The Green Hornet

Movie stars Cameron Diaz and Nicolas Cage are rumoured to be in negotiations to feature in a new adventure film, The Green Hornet.
Funnyman Seth Rogen has already been cast as the hero of the film, Britt Reid, while Diaz may feature as his love interest.
Cage is reportedly interested in playing the role of Mr X, criminal mastermind and the Green Hornet’s arch-nemesis.
Rogen produced the script in collaboration with writing partner Evan Goldberg, which follows the pair’s work on hit comedies Superbad and Pineapple Express.
French filmmaker Michel Gondry, who has previously worked on the acclaimed Science of Sleep and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, is due to direct.
The story, which is based on a radio show from the 1930s created by George W Trendle and Fran Striker, follows the adventures of Reid, a fictional newspaper publisher by day and masked superhero by night.
Stephen Chow, who was due to play the Green Hornet’s righthand man Kato, will no longer be appearing in the film.
Meanwhile, Diaz has posed as Madonna in a new photoshoot for V Magazine.
The star bleached her hair blonde, had tattoos painted on her arms and wore a pointed bra and thigh high boots for the photos.
