Big Airports ‘Are Not All Bad’

Dads the world over could be dreading the upcoming Easter weekend – particularly if they have ambitious travel plans for their families.
Coordinating a brood of children to get hand luggage and suitcases packed without anything being missed may be enough of a headache.
But keeping an eye on small children in large airports could compound the problem posed by getting away for the long weekend.
However, consumer publication Which? Holiday notes that there are advantages to jetting off from a larger facility.
Principal researcher Jonathan Mitcham explains that, the larger an airport is, the more services it might be expected to have available to passengers who are waiting for their flight.
This could mean the chance to grab something to eat – and keep those little mouths quiet by filling them with food.
Mr Mitcham adds that larger airports’ eateries can typically be expected to be of a higher standard.
And despite the perception that airport outlets may be overpriced, he notes that more passengers are demanding good value from the on-site services they choose to spend their holiday money on.
His comments could lead discerning dads to look to larger airports in order to occupy their offspring while waiting to board flights this Easter weekend.
